Kurnool: Demonstrating strong academic performance and professional readiness, 27 final-year students of KVR Government Degree College for Women, affiliated with Cluster University, Kurnool, secured employment offers during a campus recruitment drive conducted on Tuesday.
Organized under the joint aegis of the college’s Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JKC) and Placement Cell, the drive was conducted by Bengaluru-based Qspiders Software Solutions, an operational unit of Test Yantra Software Solutions India Pvt Ltd. A total of 114 final-year undergraduate students actively participated in the recruitment process, out of which 104 candidates were shortlisted for the rigorous Group Discussion (GD) round. Following multi-stage evaluations, 27 students were selected for corporate roles in the software sector.
The selected candidates bagged annual compensation packages ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5.5 lakh, while specific high-tier roles carried salary packages ranging between Rs 5.5 lakh and Rs 9.5 lakh per annum. Participating in the ceremony, College Principal Dr M Bharathi, Cluster University Placement Officer Dr L Nagaraju, and JKC Nodal Officer Dr J Kalpana emphasized that structured campus drives provide women students with direct corporate exposure and immediate employment after graduation.
Cluster University Registrar G Srinivasulu and college authorities expressed sincere gratitude to Qspiders representatives for providing lucrative career opportunities to local students.
