Three Kothagudem Thermal Power Station employees dead in separate incidents
Three employees of Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS) died due to different reasons on Friday in Palvoncha town. While two employees suffered cardiac arrest and another employ committed suicide.
Khammam: Three employees of Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS) died due to different reasons on Friday in Palvoncha town. While two employees suffered cardiac arrest and another employ committed suicide.
According to sources, R Venkateswarlu was working as plant assistant in 5 and 6 phases of KTPS in Palvoncha town. As Thursday was his last working day, he went to the office for night shift and committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his working place. Colleagues who noticed him after some time shifted him to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
According to his friends, he has been worrying about his future as he doesn't have pension facility. They also said he has a wife and two daughters. While one of the daughters is settled in USA, other is resides in Palvoncha and both of them are married. His friends said he was well off but why he committed suicide was a big question.
In another incident in same KTPS, a personal assistant N Kiran (36) working at Operation and Maintenance Wing in KTPS suffered cardiac arrest at his house. He has wife and a daughter. Interestingly, his father and brother also died at the same age and he reportedly told his mother recently that he was going die.
In another incident, Alla Satish Naidu (32) working as loco pilot in KTPS also suffered cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was admitted to the hospital after complaining of food poisoning a few days ago. He is survived by wife and a daughter.
