The erstwhile grampanchayat of Rajendranagar constituency has now been divided into five wards under new carved out Bandlaguda Jagir municipality, which is all set to give its first and strong mandate in the municipal elections to be held on January 22.
Hydershah Kote: The erstwhile grampanchayat of Rajendranagar constituency has now been divided into five wards under new carved out Bandlaguda Jagir municipality, which is all set to give its first and strong mandate in the municipal elections to be held on January 22.
All the five wards of Hydershah Kote, such as Nos: 3, 4, 5, 15 and 16, collectively account for a total of 12,834 votes – a strong factor in deciding the fate of candidates. According to official data, ward No. 3 has 2,456 votes out of which 1,284 are male and 1,172 are female voters.
Ward No. 4 comprises a total of 2,456 voters, wherein 1,272 are male and 1,168 female voters. Similarly, ward No. 5 has 2,559 electors (1,320 male and 1,239 female). Ward No. 15 has 2,787 electors overall among whom 1,428 are males and 1,359 females. Similarly, Ward No. 16 includes 2,592 voters with 1,280 male and 1,312 female voters.
The most significant development taking place in this area is Yerrakunta Cheruvu under ward No. 16, being promoted as amusement park for which the works have already begun much before the bugle of municipal elections is blown.
