Woman kills self over harassment

Yalal: A married woman form Kokat village committed suicide by consuming pesticide on Sunday. After she attempted suicide, Kavitha was rushed to Tandur government hospital, where she died while undergoing treatment.

According to family members, the reason for her death was harassment by a man of the same village. They allege that the man revealed a private conversation by the victim in social media, which went viral.

Depressed over the incident, she took the extreme step, they said. They requested the police to take action against the person, who provoked her to commit suicide.
