Vittal Reddy inspects desilting ops of nala

Mansoorabad: Muddy rain water is clogging an open nala at Hakeemabad in Agamayya Colony in Mansoorabad division. Corporator Koppula Vittal Reddy asked the GHMC officials to desilt the nala and take steps to ensure free flow of water. People complained that the nala overflows during rains and makes their lives difficult. They requested the nala be properly declogged and cleared of all obstacles.

Water stagnation is also causing mosquito menace, they pleaded. GHMC officials responded to the corporator's request and immediately allotted workers and started clearing open nalas. On Monday, Vittal Reddy visited the area and inspected the progress of works.
