Rangareddy: Collection of unused household goods was launched at Shankarpalli on Sunday. Cheyutha and Seva Bharathi oganisations initiated the drive. It was intended to collect the unused things and give them to the needy.

Members of the organisations appealed to people to donate things which they did not use any more. A 24-inch colour TV, a printer, two mobile phones, one cycle, power bank, wall clocks and home decorative, cloths and several other things were collected on the first day. The organisers said the programme would be conducted every Sunday at 10 am. People who want to donate old things can contribute, they said.

Kasinath, Suryanarayana, Kishan Rao, Jayaram Reddy, Aseerawadam Raju, Ramu, Lakshma Reddy, Srinivas, Rajender, Srikanth, Ramesh, Jangaiah, K Srinu, Shiva, Ramu, Nagendra Babu, Prashanth and others were present.
