Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions around Charminar from 6 to 11 November 2026, ahead of an expected influx of devotees to the Sri Bhagyalakshmi Temple during Diwali.

Police warned of likely congestion on three routes towards Charminar: Madina to Charminar, Murgi Chowk to Charminar, and Rajesh Medical Hall in Shah Ali Banda to Charminar. Motorists have been asked to avoid these roads and use alternative routes.

Temple visitors should follow traffic signs and officers’ instructions, and park only in designated areas:

- **Shah Ali Banda:** Charminar Bus Terminal parking; Unani Hospital premises.

- **Madina:** Nayapul SYJ Complex; Government Girls’ High School at Kali Kaman (Sundays only).

- **Puranapul:** Begum Bazar MJ Bridge; Government City College; Quli Qutub Shah (QQ) Stadium.

- **Hussaini Alam:** New Murgi Chowk, Khilwat Road; Julu Khana, Lad Bazar (Khilwat Road); Khilwat Ground.
