Three held for committing thefts of bikes and mobiles in Hyderabad and Cyberabad limits

The Panjagutta police on Wednesday apprehended three offenders namely S Tirupathi (21), D Naresh (19) and P Venkat (19) who were committing theft of bikes and mobile phones at various police station limits of Hyderabad and Cyberabad. Police seized 6 bikes and 13 mobile phones all worth Rs 7 lakh from their possession.

According to police, the offenders got addicted to alcohol and ganja, to fulfill their expenses hatched a plan to commit theft of locked bikes and mobile phones from the victims who travel on roads alone during nights. The first commit theft of locked bikes and later uses those bikes to commit snatch of mobile phones at night.

However, the police arrested the accused and produced in the court on Wednesday.
