Techie commits suicide in Hyderabad
A software engineer has committed suicide by hanging himself at Kondapur in Hyderabad on Monday under Gachibowli police station limits.
Hyderabad: A software engineer has committed suicide by hanging himself at Kondapur in Hyderabad on Monday under Gachibowli police station limits.
According to the police, the deceased A Chakravarthy (30), a native of Chandanagar in Kolkata, is staying with his friend Saptarshi Mukherjee at Prasanth Nagar and works as a software engineer at a private company.
Recently, the roommate Mukherjee has gone to Vizag, and Chakravarthy was alone in the flat. In this context, Chakravarthy's sister was calling him, but the call went unanswered, and she phoned Mukherjee. With this, Mukherjee returned from Vizag on Monday morning. The flat door was locked from inside, and there is no response from Chakravarthy.
Immediately, he informed the police. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and broke opened the doors and found Chakravarthy hanging to the ceiling fan. The reason for his suicide is yet to be known. On the incident, the police have registered a case and investigating further.
