Devnar Foundation for the Blind in Begumpet, on the occasion of 28th Teachers Day, released a book ‘Biography of Swami Vivekananda’ in Braille on Thursday.

Begumpet: Devnar Foundation for the Blind in Begumpet, on the occasion of 28th Teachers Day, released a book 'Biography of Swami Vivekananda' in Braille on Thursday.

A Shyam Kumar, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) South India campaigner said, "The main aim of the release of the biography on the teacher's day is to make the students and people who cannot read, to know about the life story about Swami Vivekananda."

The translation of the biography into Braille took around 20 days. A total of 4 translators translated the biography into Braille print in which 2 of them translated the Braille print and 2 checked the translated copy. For now the biography is translated in only English Braille print.

Saibaba Goud, founder chairman of Devanar Foundation spoke on the facilities offered to the blind students at Devanar Blind School. He said, "The Devnar foundation aims to make these visually impaired students to get successful in their life. Many of the students who have passed from this school have been working in various banks and other companies."

The students also learn and work on different technological developments like computer. Speaking on the release of the biography in other languages, Saibaba said, "If there will be a good response on the translation, the biography will be translated in other languages for the students who come from different states and countries."
