Road restoration works left midway

Quthbullapur: The road repair works at Qutubullapur came to a standstill. The road was dug up to lay water pipelines a few months ago. The work resulted in potholes and is uneven.

No official has bothered to complete the road, which is causing a lot of distress to local residents and motorists. During night times it gets more difficult to travel as there is less visibility and chances of tripping are more, according to Rohan, a local.

The locals over here had complained to the authorities concerned about this perennial problem several times and also asked them to construct a proper road in this area, but no step has been initiated as yet.
