Residents vexed by sewage overflow at Balanagar

Balanagar: The drainage overflowing at Raju Colony, Balanagar, has been causing inconvenience to residents and commuters. Mahesh, a local, said, "Due to the recent rainfall, the condition has become worse.

As sewage water is overflowing at a side of the road, it is spreading on the road all along and it is becoming difficult for pedestrians to cross the road as it has become a slippery stretch. There are also chances of motorists skidding and falling off vehicles."

The locals over here request the authorities concerned to construct an inner manual chamber because of the poor construction of sewage chambers that lead to frequent overflow.
