Poor state of roads continues to rankle residents

Venkatapuram: Laxmi Kalamandhir Theatre residents are undergoing hardships due to the bad condition of roads and overflow of sewage water.

The drainage manholes are right in the middle of the roads and their caps are broken. Speeding vehicles have tough time, negotiating in the nick of time to avert mishaps. Add to the woes of commuters is sewage overflow, which is causing an unbearable stink.

Roads are in very bad conditions, said a local resident S Guna Shekhar. Another local resident N Mithun said that several local people made complaints to GHMC officials, but there has been no response from them. Commuters are finding it difficult to traverse on these roads.
