Plastic scrap godown gutted in Bholakpur
On Friday morning, a plastic scrap godown located at Gulshan Nagar of Bholakpur division was gutted down as short circuit caused a fire accident.
Musheerabad: On Friday morning, a plastic scrap godown located at Gulshan Nagar of Bholakpur division was gutted down as short circuit caused a fire accident.
The accident happened in the early hours of Friday and by the time fire engine reached the spot, the godown was burnt to ashes. The fire engine could not reach the place as the spot was located in an area with narrow lanes. Dark clouds spread the area and people faced breathing problems.
Musheerabad MLA Muta Gopal reached the spot and enquired about the causes of the accident. He advised scrap business to follow fire safety norms to prevent such accidents.
He assured the owners of the godown of compensation from government after taking up the matter with the authorities concerned. TRS leaders Muta Jaisimha, M Prabhakar, Y Srinivas, B Naveen, Krishnamurthy, minority TRS leader Shareef and others were present on the accident spot.
