Uppal: Responding to the news item titled 'Unhygienic conditions at anaganwadi deplored,' published in on Thursday, Legal Services Authority head Justice Uday Kumar, Uppal MRO Rama Devi, senior assistant Sitaram and MEO Brahmachari on Thursday visited Ravindra Nagar community hall where the anganwadi school was shifted, after the original building was allotted to primary health centre, and reviewed the situation. It is learnt that Uday Kumar instructed MEO to look into the matter and ensure that the new building is constructed at the earliest and also see that hygienic conditions are maintained in the kitchen.

When THI contacted the MEO, he said that anganwadi school was temporarily shifted as the new building was under construction. Only some empty vessels and gas cylinder, and not food items, were kept near the bathroom in order to keep them from common sight, he clarified. A separate room was taken from the community hall organisers for kitchen, he said. He also informed that the anganwadi students would be shifted to the new building once it is completed.
