Officials told to stop drainage overflow

Lalapet: Acting on a complaint by residents of various colonies, corporator Alakunta Saraswathi took out padayatra in Shanthi Nagar and Acharya Nagar on Friday.

The residents said that drainage overflow was causing hardships for them to commute. She directed officials concerned to ensure the problem was solved at the earliest. Local leaders Hari, Vanjari Venkatesh, Mallikarjun, K Hari Yadav and others were present.
