Imparting skills should be part of basic education and the new education policy stands proof of it, said Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy, at the valedictory function of International Executive Development Programme 2019-20 at National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ( Ni-MSME) here on Thursday.

Yousufguda: Imparting skills should be part of basic education and the new education policy stands proof of it, said Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy, at the valedictory function of International Executive Development Programme 2019-20 at National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ( Ni-MSME) here on Thursday. Delegates from 28 countries derived the benefit of Indian MSME experience in the 6-week intensive training.

Kishan Reddy said, "The phase of development has undergone a sea change in the past five years and the MSME sector which is vibrant and dynamic is making good strides towards promotion of entrepreneurship contributing majorly towards country's economy.

The three courses in Phase I included; Empowerment of Women through Enterprises (EWE), Promotion and Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PDMSMEs) and Promotion of Micro Enterprises (POME).
