Hayath Nagar: Rachakonda CP Mahesh Bhagavath, LB Nagar DCP Sanpreeth Singh, Vanasthalipuram ACP Gandhi Narayan and LB Nagar MLA Devireddy Sudheer Reddy inaugurated CCTV surveillance system at Hayath Nagar division on Thursday.
A total of 150 CCTV cameras are installed and among them 57 are community CCTVs and the rest 93 are Nenusaitham CCTVs on NH-65 Highway. The cameras are arranged at all entry and exit points which covers the total jurisdiction of Hayathnagar. The cameras are manufactured by Royal Communication Pvt. Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanpreeth Singh said, "A single CC camera works as 100 eyes by observing day and night. 48.5 lakh rupees are spent for arranging 48.5 lakh rupees. We thank every person for moving forward saying 'Nenusaitham' and donated. Every donation is taken in the form of cheque only."
Speaking on the occasion, Sudheer Reddy said, "Hyderabad has a special place in the combined state. After getting divided, it's getting increased day by day. TRS government is trying very hard to reduce the crime rate in the city. Crime rate has been reduced in the past 4 years because of CC cameras. My support will always be there for 100% CCTV cameras."
Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Bhagavat said, "As the accidents are getting increased on highways, these cameras are required. If any incident took place at night times also, we can read the number plates as the cameras work for 24/7.
A special thanks to people who donated for the cameras." He further added, "In order to expand the CCTVs network across the Rachakonda Commissionerate, CCTV installation is being monitored through tele-conference and also taking daily status report of each PS."
