MIM's star campaigners in Maha ballot battle
Ahead of the Assembly Elections in Maharashtra, MIM party men including MLAs and even some corporators have turned as star campaigners for the local candidates representing the party.

With Maharashtra Assembly elections scheduled to be held on October 21, the party is making all-out efforts to ensure to get a maximum number of seats out of the 44 it is contesting from a total of 288 seats.
After thorough calculation, the party chief Asaduddin Owaisi had announced on October 8 the decision to contest from these seats, which he hoped had good prospects. In the 2014 state polls, AIMIM had contested 24 seats and had won only two. In the general elections held this year, it backed Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA).
The party's MLAs in TS Assembly including those who are considered to be busy with their constituencies have already started camping in their respective designated constituencies for campaigning. The party's General Secretary and one of the most party's senior leaders Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri (MLA Yakutpura), Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala (MLA Malakpet), Jaffar Hussain Meraj (MLA Nampally), Kausar Mohiuddin (MLA Karwan) and several Corporators are leaving no stone unturned to reach out to the masses in Maharashtra's various constituencies and canvassing for local candidates.
According to party sources, Ahmed Balala is the in-charge of Mumbai, supporting candidate advocate Ratnakar Daware at Kurla, while Pasha Quadri is supporting Aurangabad candidate Naser Siddiqui, Kausar along with Mohammed Naseer (Nanalnagar Corportaor) are supporting Nanded candidate, Feroz Khan Lala and Jaffar Meraj along with Majid Hussain (Mehdipatnam corporator) supporting Malegaon candidate Mufti Ismail Qasmi.
While senior party leader Samad Bin Abdat (Father of Uppuguda Corporator) supporting Mumbadevi Candidate, Bashir Moosa Patel, while Corporators Syed Sohail Quadri (Pathergatti) and Mirza Saleem Baig (Riyasathnagar) is supporting Dhule Candidate Dr Anwar Farooq Shah. These Hyderabad based party leaders are supporting the candidates by organising paidaldaura, grand rallies and public meeting and corner meetings in different localities in their designated constituencies.
During door-to-door campaign party leaders along with candidates claimed to have a warm welcome from the locals. Local MLAs were even said to have been felicitated in certain districts of Maharashtra. During the campaign, they are interacting with locals and explaining to them about the developmental projects they seek to initiate.
Recently, as part of election campaign, Asaduddin Owaisi organised grand public meetings in different constituencies like Paithan, Aurangabad, Malegaon, Dhulia, Mumbai, Pune, Sangola, Sholapur, Parbhani constituencies.
On Wednesday, he has addressed a public meeting in Nanded and on Friday and Saturday he had other meetings in Nagpur and Malegaon respectively which were attended by thousands of people. Many more public meetings are scheduled till October 19.
