Baghlingampally: Kalyanlakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques were handed over to beneficiaries at Tahasildar office on Tuesday. Former Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy, Musheerabad MLA Muta Gopal, Amberpet MLA Kaleru Venkatesh and local corporators attended the programme.

As many as 55 beneficiaries of Kalyanlakshmi and 13 beneficiaries of Shaadi Mubarak received cheques. On the occasion, Naini Narsimha Reddy said that Telangana state has become a role model for other states for its innovative welfare and developmental schemes.

Kalyanlakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes have helped poor parents marry off their girls, he said. He urged people to take advantage of various schemes initiated by the state government.

Ramnagar Corporator V Srinivas Reddy, Gandhinagar Corporator Muta Padma Naresh, Kaleru Padma Venkatesh, MRO Srisailam, locals TRS leaders and others attended the programme.
