In support of the farmers who called Bharat Bandh on Tuesday, even IT employees extended their hands
Hyderabad: In support of the farmers who called Bharat Bandh on Tuesday, even IT employees extended their hands. The Forum of IT Professionals (ForIT) organised a silent march on Tuesday from Raidurg Metro Station to TCS Deccan Park.
Around 100 IT professionals have participated and expressed their solidarity for farmers. The group of IT employees also conducted a roadblock at Lemon Tree Junction. The eEmployees also raised the slogan in support of the farmers - 'Memu Saitam, Raitu Kosam,'and 'People united shall always be victorious.'
Kiran Chandra, the pPresident of ForIT, said, "Farmer bills are not just not about farmers, as the bills also got connection with information technology. As this issue is not an issue of a farmer or farming community alone but also for the entire nation as a whole, we all are directly or indirectly associated with farmers. So, a group of IT employees decided to stand solidarity with the farmers."
