Women candidates of Physical Education Teacher (P.E.T) Gurukul tried to lay siege to Pragati Bhavan on Monday demanding the announcement of P.E.T results.
Women candidates of Physical Education Teacher (P.E.T) Gurukul tried to lay siege to Pragati Bhavan on Monday demanding the announcement of P.E.T results. They alleged that they alleged the result of P.E.T exam which was conducted in 2018 hasn't been released yet.
"The government is delaying the result by not filing the counter affidavit when the case was in the court," the women candidates alleged.
The protestors reached Pragati Bhavan from Warangal, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Khammam and Karimnagar and staged a sit-in protest at Pragati Bhavan holding placards. They said that the notification for vacancies of P.E.T posts was announced in 2017 and the exam was held in 2018. Since then, the announcement of results was delayed.
The women protestors were arrested by the police and sent to a police station.
