Hyderabad: Chief Public Relations Officer to Telangana CM, V Jwala Narasimha Rao, presented copies the books written by him – 'Telangana District and Land Administration At G Glance,' and 'Sri Madhbhagawata Kathalu' – to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan here on Sunday.
The book, 'Telangana District and Land Administration at a Glance,' is a compilation of articles written by Jwala Narasimha Rao on several platforms, his regular columns in daily newspapers, his personal blog, and the media releases he prepared as CPRO to the CM. He picked up articles from his vast repertoire of writings.
The book would be of great help as a reference book for the students, teachers, scholars of Public Administration and Political Science, especially for those who want to study the district and land administration in the Telangana region from the ancient times, through the Nizam period to current times.
The book has more than 40 articles, deals among others with creation of new and small districts in Telangana, evolution of district administration, the changing role of Collector in the changed scenario, the survey settlements aspects of lands, rectification and updation of land records, municipal and Panchayat Raj Acts, urban policy, need for training of civil servants, citizen centric government etc.
Jwala Narasimha Rao very systematically captured the vision and farsightedness of the Telangana State administration under the dynamic leadership of CM KCR in introducing administrative reforms in the book.
In the second book, Srimadhbhagwata Kathalu, he compiled stories based on Bammera Pothanna's 'Maha Bhagavatam.' Congratulating him, the CM said Rao had written on topics which are of great interest and use to the people.
