Hyderabad: Dr A V Umakanth, a distinguished agricultural scientist with the Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has been awarded the Annual Seed Scientist Award by the Seedsmen Association here on Monday.
