Hyderabad: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) and Jai Makthal Trust launched Artificial Intelligence-based digital learning for children at an Anganwadi centre at Yedavelli village of Narayanpet district on Monday The TITA and Jai Makthal Trust chief Sundeep Kumar Makthala took the initiative to ensure children at the Anganwadi centres get uninterrupted learning even during raging pandemic times. The launch of the initiative also saw the presence of foreign dignitaries.
The Jai Makthal Trust, which has taken up numerous initiatives in various sectors, has took up digital learning for students of the Anganwadi centres to identify talent in the children and ensure continuous learning despite pandemic. The trust and Edu Project Global Tech came together to ensure digital learning for children. The project, which is known for its 'Kids Go Bagless' initiative, came forward to provide digital learning based on AI tools in remote Makthal constituency. The trust is coordinating with the NGO in the novel initiative. Also, Sundeep handed over a smart TV to the centre.
As part of the digital learning, children at the centres will learn pre-school disciplines aided with AI and 3D images. Their attendance can be marked online. The initiative is being hailed as home-based learning.About the new project, Sundeep said the trust was trying to ensure that children from marginalised sections were not deprived of learning due to the pandemic and also to make learning more effective with AI tools. Amit from Skanda IT Solutions, V Jitendra, Narayanpet TITA secretary Shruti, including foreign dignitaries, were present.
