Hyderabad: Day temperature crosses 36 degrees Celsius
For the first time in this season, the day temperatures crossed 36 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The highest day temperature of 36.7 degrees Celsius was recorded in Nizamabad. While Bhadrachalam registered 36 deg C, Adilabad had 35.4 and Mahbubnagar 35.2 as the highest maximum temperatures.

The Met department bulletin said the day temperatures registered an appreciable rise ranging from 2.1 4 deg C in some parts, while some others had a marked rise by 4.1 deg C or more.
The other day temperatures recorded in the State were: Hyderabad (34.7) deg C, Ramagundam (34.4), Khammam (34.2), Hakimpet (33.1), Dundigal (33.1), Hanamkonda (32.5), Nalgonda (31.8) and Medak (31.2).
The lowest night temperature registered was 17.2 degrees Celsius in Nalgonda. According to the bulletin, the other temperatures recorded were: Mahbubnagar (24.4), Adilabad (24), Nizamabad (24.1), Ramagundam (23.8), Bhadrachalam (23.2), Hyderabad (22.9), Khammam (22.4), Dundigal (21.6), Hakimpet (20.8), Hanamkonda (20.5), Medak (17.5).
Meanwhile, rain occurred at isolated places (up to 25 per cent of the area) over Telangana during the last 24 hours, ending at 8.30 am on Wednesday, thanks to the persisting trough/wind discontinuity which now runs from north Marathawada to South Tamil Nadu across interior Karnataka. The cyclonic circulation over Marathwada and its neighbourhood has becomeless marked.
The forecast said dry weather is very likely to prevail over Telangana from March 12 to 15. No large change during the period March 16-18 is the weather outlook.
