Gachibowli: Garbage has been piling up everywhere on the streets of Gachibowli, lanes and including in developed colonies. The stretch of Anjaiah Nagar to Kakatiya Hospital is filled with garbage in all corners of the street.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Monday, some of the locals said, "Garbage which lies unattended is blocking roads and causing health issues." The residents request the officials concerned to solve the issue and expressed concern over the unhealthy surroundings.

"We can lift garbage from our homes and outside houses, but we can't clean all the corners of lanes. We are not GHMC workers. We have paid the workers to clean our roads. It is better if they recognise these issues and take up the work responsibly," said women in the colony.

Most of the residents are worried that the piled-up garbage may result in spread of diseases and many of them complained of foul smell emitted by it.
