GHMC park turns dumping yard

Suraram: GHMC park Suraram is reeling under pathetic condition, as garbage is dumped inside the park. As the whole park is littered with plastic waste and construction material, teems with stray animals who come here have something to eat. Earlier, children used to play in the park every evening but now garbage is strewn everywhere, nobody enters the park.

T Ram, a local said that since past few months has become a dumping yard for people. From household refuse to plastic waste, cement blocks, sand, and broken tiles all are dumped here. "We informed the GHMC –Qutubullapur to clean the park but no one has turned up yet to remove the garbage," he rued. Many locals over here complained to the concern authorities, but no action has been taken yet.
