Amberpet: Garbage wastes which are dumped by the locals in surrounding areas are not being cleared by the GHMC workers who come in vehicles and this is inconveniencing the people commuting on the road. The area is located in Amberpet. The garbage is decomposed and the foul smell which is emitted from it and the swarm of flies on it are giving lot of trouble to the general public. Some people are also found urinating near the place.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, J Kishore, who is a CCTV technician said, "I have to travel from Ramanthapur to Amberpet daily. There is always this malodorous smell when I come here as the garbage wastes are decomposed. Dogs, while trying to eat them, are spreading out the wastes. As a result, people walking on the road are made to suffer inhaling the foul smell.

Ravi R, an ice cream vendor, said, "The issue of the garbage wastes on the roads has been there for a long time. There are times that the garbage is not taken away for weeks. Even people are used to pass urine there itself as the area is already dirty. I moved my cart from here as people are not showing interest because of the stench and the mosquitoes."
