Residents are facing the hardships of garbage which is not being attended from homes and sadly, while it gets dumped in the dump yard and left unmonitored the impact is faced by people of Rahamatnagar, Subash Chandrabose Nagar, Karmika Nagar, Side3 and Boarabanda. "We request GHMC officials to monitor the dump everyday and collect the garbage from houses," said Karthikeyanath, a local resident.
Unauthorised parking lot
Model Colony, ESI: An unauthorised parking at Model Colony Park is creating disturbance to the residents of the colony and the visitors of the park. "I am a resident of Model Colony. At the entrance of our colony park we daily face the problem of haphazard parking.
People from different areas just come and park their vehicles and leave them all the day. We suffer like hell without having an idea where to park our own vehicles. An unlawful parking lot has emerged where visitors and colony people come for a walk at the park. Though there is a no-parking board in clear sight, no one bothers and I request officials to take action," said Sai Prashanth Nandhagiri.
Debris heaps lie unattended
Srinagar Colony: Post replacing of manhole covers in Yousufguda, GHMC has not removed debris on main road. Debris on the main road is interrupting the traffic flow and causing hardships to the commuters and residents face difficulties to clean the surroundings of their shops and houses.
"Whenever it rains, soil and dust spread wide and sometimes it also enters inside the houses, the construction waste is always harmful and ladies are unable to do their work with easy because of debris left over in front of shops," says Santhosh, a shopkeeper in Yousufguda.
Rampant littering bothersome
Krishna Nagar: Careless littering by residents and commuters at corners of the roads in Krishna Nagar area is turning into foul emitting garbage dump. Residents requests officials to take stringent action as soon as possible as they worried about the mosquitoes breeding at the dump.
"I clean surroundings every day but at the end of the garbage dump is forming and am helpless and GHMC garbage cleaners must help us solving the issue," said Vijaya lakshimi, a shopkeeper in Krishna Nagar.
