Floral tributes paid to Vignan Jyothi Engineering College students

Parents of the 24 students of Vignan Jyothi Engineering College (VJEC), who were killed in an accident in Beas River five years ago in Himachal Pradesh, paid floral tributes to the portraits of the victims in front of the college here on Saturday. The parents brought out a book ‘Kanneeti Vagu’ to coincide with the day.
Bachupally: Parents of the 24 students of Vignan Jyothi Engineering College (VJEC), who were killed in an accident in Beas River five years ago in Himachal Pradesh, paid floral tributes to the portraits of the victims in front of the college here on Saturday. The parents brought out a book 'Kanneeti Vagu' to coincide with the day.
Speaking on the occasion, they observed that the situation that they encountered following their children's death should not be faced by any other family. They appealed to the managements of the colleges and the state government to prevent such mishaps from recurring in the future.
