Madhapur: Shilparamam Arts, Crafts & Cultural Society has brought back its much sought annual 'All India Saree Mela' during the Dasara festival to provide marketable facilities to the original artisans to put them in direct contact of the customers without the involvement of the middleman.

There are a variety of sarees represented by all the states of country, like Benaras from UP, Maheshwari and Chanderi from MP, Patola, Bandini from Gujarat, Uppada, Mangalgiri, Venkatagiri, Kalamkari from AP, Kota from Rajasthan, Gollabama, Gadwal, Pochampalli from Telangana, Balucheri, Lenin, Muslin, Kantha work, Zamdani Sarees from West Bengal and Tussar Silk from Bengal and Silk sarees of Karnataka etc.

The Shilpaarmam adorns its amazing ambience with attractive lighting done by NIFT Students. The mela will conclude on October 8. Grand celebrations of Dussehra are attracting shoppers and revellers in droves.
