this occasion, Dr Hari Radha Krishna said that the centre rivals the best of its kind in the State. It has State-of-the-art equipment and is fully capable of providing comprehensive DBS treatment. DBS Clinic treat a wide spectrum of illnesses and disorders such as parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy, dystonia, essential tremor, intractable spasticity dyskinesia, depression and chronic pain among others.
Dr Bimal Prasad Padhy said, awareness on Parkinson's disease is high in Telugu States, but the knowledge on importance of 'multi-disciplinary' care has not reached the people.
Satyam Dheeraj, Hospital Chief Operating Officer said, comprehensive centre offers 360° care with the most advanced forms of medical and surgical treatment and ancillary services to patients afflicted with various movement disorders including parkinson's diseases. Dr Sushma Rani, Medical superintendent, other team of doctors were present on the occasion.
