Counting of votes in Moula Ali stopped due to the mismatch in the number of votes polled and counted. As many as 33 votes were in excess in the ballot paper than the polled votes.

The officials said that the number of polled votes is 361 while the votes counted were 394. The issue was taken to the notice of higher authorities.

On the other hand, BJP objected the counting of votes in Vivekananda Nagar division stating that there is a difference in the number of votes polled and counted. The BJP agent alleged that the ballot box was not properly sealed.

The party also opposed the counting process in Jambagh division. The votes polled in polling station number 8 were 471 but only 257 votes were present in the ballot box.
