Lingojiguda: Local corporator Mudraboina Srinivas Rao submitted a memorandum to Zonal Commissioner Upender Reddy on Friday seeking steps to commence drainage work in Masjd lane. He said residents were facing hardships due to the faulty drainage system.
He said there was 200 sq yards vacant land near the mosque and requested the commissioner to allocate it to Basti Dawakana. The commissioner directed officials concerned to start drainage works at the earliest.
Adala Ramesh, Tilak Rao, Jaganath Reddy, Afsar, Madhu Sagar, Andekar Indraji, Saukat Ali, Pasha, Praveen Reddy, Narender, Taher, AMOH Mallikarjun and others were present.
