Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy paid tributes to the mortal remains of Archbishop Thumma Bala at St Mary’s School, Secunderabad, on Friday.
“Thumma Bala devoted himself to the noble cause of constructing a resilient society, and he tirelessly promoted peace, religious unity, and education for the underprivileged. Personally, I shared a deep connection with the late Thumma Bala.
During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and the 2023 Assembly elections, the Archbishop bestowed his heartfelt blessings upon me.
It is with these blessings that a government for the people has been established in the state of Telangana,” the CM said.
The passing of Thumma Bala plunged his followers into profound sorrow.
The Archbishop’s contributions were widely acknowledged, and the Chief Minister encouraged everyone to proceed drawing inspiration from the revered Thumma Bala’s message.
