Chemicals fall from vehicle, pollute air

Patancheru: Atmosphere in the Gaddapocharam industrial area of Jinnaram mandal in Sangareddy district on Tuesday got polluted after chemicals and raw material being transported without due care in a lorry fell from bags on a road.

Eyewitnesses told The Hans India that a strong pungent smell was experienced by the residents of nearby villages and vehicle-users after poisonous gas emanated in the area consequent to the incident. The residents appealed to the district administration to take steps to prevent such mishaps in future.
