Celebrities, commoners mingle as voters

Exhibiting the spirit of democracy, voters across the city started lining up at polling stations to exercise their franchise from the very first hour on Thursday. Among those who landed at the polling booths and queuing up were celebrities, film stars, politicians and senior officials. Polling sluggish in Greater Hyd

The Greater Hyderabad including Hyderabad and Secunderabad LS constituencies registered 39.34 per cent polling, in which parliament constituencies in Hyderabad district alone registered 39.49 per cent. Parliament constituencies in Secunderabad registered 39.20 per cent. No untoward incidents were reported anywhere in the city as elaborate security arrangements were put in place.
