According to organisers, the third-phase of counselling focused on the students irrespective of their results to help them decide the next step in life. "Parents are an important part of this session as the students are encouraged not only to take decisions based on aptitude and interest but also on financial capabilities," said India Literacy Project's Hyderabad Chapter Coordinator, Preeti Iyengar
She said that this year the Career Counselling Project of India Literacy Project Hyderabad covered over 75 schools and 4500 students in Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad District, Vikarabad District and Khammam District. "Our vision is to expand this project to multiple districts across the State of Telangana. We also intend to set up a Multi-Dimensional Learning Space – an after school program to support the govt.

Preeti Iyengar is leading the projects which include Mobile Libraries, Teacher support, Career Counselling, Digital learning, etc. STEM education, among others in Government Schools. This program was facilitated by United Way of Hyderabad, sponsored by State Street.
