Brahmotsavam begins at Golden Temple
The Brahmotsavam celebrations commenced grandly on the occasion of first anniversary of Hare Krishna Golden Temple on Thursday by Hare Krishna Movement.

As part of the first day celebrations Utsava Arambha Abhishekam to Mulavar Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, Mritsangrahanam and Ankurarpana along with these programmes, Nama Sankirthans, Bhagavathopadesam and other cultural activities were conducted by the devotees.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, president of Hare Krishna Movement,Hyderabad & Regional President of Akshaya Patra Foundation (Telangana & AP) said, "The auspicious Brahmostavam programme started grandly with the special Abhishekam to Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. The priests draw Bhudevi form on ground and collect holy clay from that form and bring it into the temple.
This is called Mritsangrahanam. This holy clay is filled in 9 holy pots in which priest pour in the night different types of grains and do the worshipping in Yagashala.
The first day Ankurarpana programme concluded with Purna kumbha Prathista." As part of Brahmotsavam second day on May 10, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Pallaki Utsavam will be celebrated grandly and in the morning Dwajarohanam, the ceremony of hoisting the flag to Dwajastambham with Garuda (The Vehicle of Lord Vishnu) picture which is the indication of invitation to the Demi Gods for the celebrations & Agni Prathista.
