Hyderabad Runners Society and Bharti Airtel in association with Government of Telangana announced the launch of the 9th edition of the Airtel Hyderabad Marathon on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Runners Society and Bharti Airtel in association with Government of Telangana announced the launch of the 9th edition of the Airtel Hyderabad Marathon on Tuesday.

This annual city sporting event will be held on August 24 and 25 with active participation of over 23,000 runners from across the city, country and overseas. Additionally, around 3,500 volunteers from the city put their efforts into the event. Considered to be among the leading & challenging city marathons in India, this race also marks the beginning of the Marathon season in India.

On August 25, the 10K Half Marathon (21.095 km) & Full Marathon (42.195 km) will be conducted. Exclusive 5k timed run for the corporate heads will be held on August 24.
