Guntur: Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar said that the coalition government is committed to resolving every problem faced by farmers including long-pending land problems of the farmers.

He along with Revenue Minister Anagani Satyaprasad, Prathipadu MLA B Ramanjaneyulu and Rajya Sabha MP Bhashyam Ramakrishna participated in a meeting held in Batticherumuru on Tuesday and distributed certificates to beneficiaries whose 22-A land issues had been resolved.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the government had taken the 22-A land issue as a major public concern and was working towards resolving such problems across the State. He said the successful resolution of 22-A issues in Guntur district was the result of the efforts and initiative of the local leadership.

Revenue Minister Anagani Satyaprasad said nearly 70% of public grievances were related to the Revenue Department and that the government was taking effective measures to resolve them. He said Vatticherukuru, Pulladigunta and Etukuru were examples of the government’s efforts to resolve long-pending revenue issues.
