GBA to launch simplified e-Aasthi 2.0 from monday

Bengaluru: The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) will roll out an upgraded and simplified e-Aasthi 2.0 system from September 21 to make property-related services faster, easier and more transparent for citizens.

According to the GBA, the new platform is an advanced version of the award-winning e-khata system, which has already facilitated the online issuance of more than 25 lakh e-khatas.

The upgraded system has been designed with a simpler and more user-friendly interface, bringing key e-khata and property-related services under a single online platform. One of the major changes is direct integration with the KAVERI system to streamline the khata mutation process.

The new platform will also allow applicants to track the status of their applications online in real time, reducing the need to make repeated visits to civic offices.

Services available from September 21 will include conversion of draft e-khata into final e-khata, issuance of final e-khata along with mutation, KAVERI-mutation integration and real-time application tracking. The system will also facilitate conversion of B-khata to A-khata.

The GBA said several additional facilities would be introduced in the next phase. These will include new khata registration, bulk khata processing for apartments and multi-storey buildings, corrections in complete or final e-khatas, and site bifurcation and amalgamation.GBA Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao said the upgraded system marks an important step towards making e-khata services simpler, transparent and citizen-friendly.
