Police arrested 15 people on Sunday, who were protesting in the city's C Hexagon against the city's increasing air pollution. They had allegedly refused to leave the C Hexagon.

According to a top officers, the incident was escalating Delhi air pollution protest used pepper spray attack against the officers and triggered a short confrontation. A many officers felt vexation caused by the spray, and were rushed to an exigency room to admit treatment.

Officers have said that legal action would be taken against those who are responsible.

Police battle that some protesters were suitable to move towards the C Hexagon stretch and were trying to get across the fences that were set up to regulate movement within the region." We tried to tell them that several ambulances and medical staff were stuck behind the leaguer and demanded exigency passage, but they came extremely agitated," the officer explained..

As they feared that the situation might become more violent protest Delhi, police advised protesters to take a step back. "They did not comply, cut the barricade down and then walked on the road and then took a seat. As our teams attempted to remove them, a handful of protesters sprayed chilli on the officers. A aggregate of three to four people were injured, and are entering treatment," the officer added.

The incident was described as unknown. New Delhi deputy manager of police Devesh Kumar Mahla told PTI," This is the first time inciters detained chilli spot on officers managing business and law and order."."

Pollution crisis India comes on the heels of another one on the 9th of November, where a group of people were questioned in India Gate during a "clean air protest" in which they demanded urgent government action as well as stronger policies to address what they called"an "air emergency."

Many of the participants shared videos on YouTube of people being led into police vehicles. One comment on X said, "India Gate clean-air protest. We're being detained and forced into a van." Some protesters claimed that they were abused and also that children were detained, but police have were unable to prove either.
