Which should be the national animal - Tiger or cow?

Cow occupied a special place in Hindu culture. Instead of perceiving it in a religious angle, people should accept cow as our national animal at least on the basis of benefits in regard with humans and the environment.

I am not against tiger holding its place as our national animal. But at the same time, I don't oppose if the cow is made our national animal. Cow occupies a special place in Hindu dharma.

Cow is a divine bovine also known as Goumatha that is also evolved from churning of milk from the ocean. It is a precious and divine animal. It is the time to declare it as national animal.
