We have tackled the pandemic well
First of all, we should be proud of our government for handling this situation very smoothly. Regardless of whether we classify novel coronavirus as a pandemic, it is a serious issue. In less than two months, it has spread over several continents around the world. Pandemic means sustained and continuous spread of the disease.
We certainly have fear of pandemic. The entire global media is gripped by coronavirus. But, it is also right that we must not panic. There are some reasons to think there may be ways to defeat the virus.
1. We know what it is
The first cases of AIDS was reported on June 1981 and it took more than two years to identify the virus (HIV) causing the disease. Coming to Covid-19 the first cases were reported in China on December 31, 2019 and by January 7, the virus had been already identified.
2. We know how to detect the virus
Since January,13 a test to detect the virus was available.
3. 80% of the cases are mild
The disease causes no symptoms or it is mild in 81% of cases. The remaining 14% people are suffering from severe pneumonia and in other 5% it has become critical.
4. People heal
Reported data shows us that the increase in number of confirmed cases and in the number of deaths, but most of the infected people are cured. There are. 13 times more cured cases than deaths.
5. There are already vaccine illustrations
There are already more than eight projects are underway for having a vaccine against the novel coronavirus.
As a student I have shared my opinion and India has a great weapons today that is the youth. The children of today are the change makers of tomorrow. So I think the youth had more responsibilities than other.

Telangana Government's bold decision
The Telangana Government's move to promote the students of 10th class to higher class is certainly welcome in view of the enormous growth in the numbers of Covid-19 cases in India at present. The decision taken by the Government to declare grades based on internal evaluation, make the students and their parents mentally free in this existing pandemic situation.
Of course, it makes the students disappointing who are eagerly waiting to perform well at the examinations after a year-wise preparation with utmost devotion. But life is more valuable than materialistic things in the world. It is a must at least for few months one has to maintain the social distance and to avoid the unknown or known person within the near proximity.
The figures of Corona are still with increasing tendency. At this juncture it is wise to keep the young children away from the situations where there is possibility of cluster-formation. The officials and the Government of Telangana very well deserve congratulations on taking such a bold decision.

Digital campaigning
The virtual rally-cum-gathering of Amit Shah marks the advent of new era of elections which will usher in outrightly unique dynamics of political rallies if Covid-19 is here to stay. People will be sitting at home and joining rallies through mobile, tablet, laptop or PC, while proper internet connectivity will haunt politicians. TV could be a perfect medium for such rallies but how will it take place it is unknown for now. Election bound state Bihar will be first witness to such an experiment. How will people take it only time has answer of it.

Bold editorial
I was not only delighted but proud as well to read your bold editorial "Has the media compromised willingly" (THI 8 June). Over the last six years as commented by late Vinod Mehta media in India has turned from fourth estate to fifth column by turning itself as megaphone of the government in power. The reasons are well known as any media house or journalist makes genuine comment about certain wrong move, they are bound to get punished and others who blindly support of those who are in power are in fact rewarded by special favour and have earned the distinction of the title "godi media". The Hans has shown the courage how media is willingly compromising its responsibility when it is only forum which can come to help of ordinary citizens.
