Many lessons that lockdown taught us

Lockdown taught us many things. We can spend time with our families. So, we can take care of our family and we can help them if we think. As we know, many are working from home. So, it is clear that to most of our professions can manage to work full-fledged even from homes.

We can manage with the food that we have at home and there is no need for us to go to outside for food daily. We came to know that all jewels, gold, clothing, or electronics are not important for a man. As we all know, there is an economic breakdown going on right now, the main thing the people are concerned about now is the upcoming days. People are running out of money and they have no idea what to do. Generally, every problem has a solution. In the same way, even this pandemic will surely have a solution. Let us unite and get solutions for these problems. Stay home and stay safe.

Extend lockdown till May 31

The people during the past three to four generations have never seen this type of a virus. In schools, colleges, universities and other such organisations, we have been trained to work as a team for successful outcome and results. But unfortunately, containment of this virus prohibits teaming and grouping of people. It, therefore, demands isolation, maintenance of social and physical distancing among the people. This resulted in the slogan 'stay home and stay safe'.

The Prime Minister has taken right decision at the right time and declared the lockdown and led the Indians from the front to prevent coronavirus from spreading. However, despite several warnings and punitive actions, some people are not practicing norms of safety. Therefore the lockdown should be extended till May 31, while relaxing it wherever required to avoid total financial collapse. The government needs to take necessary steps to save lives to a maximum extent.

Lockdown is best way to prevent corona spread

A virus has locked as down in a new world. Today we are respect healthcare professionals, people in uniforms and delivery agents, leaving no occasion to thank them. We insist that our house helps stay home and take care of themselves, we make sure that our aged parents do not have to wait for our weekly phone calls, because it happens almost twice every day. We have, by all means, become more human. This pandemic has changed us. we developed many good habits. There is no vaccine till date for the dangerous virus. So, until a vaccine is found, lockdown is best way to prevent spreading of virus. Stay home, stay safe!

India can't afford prolonged lockdown

This refers to the column "Make debt and(don't) make merry" dated May 11. India cannot afford prolonged lockdown. India also cannot choose helicopter money or quantitative easing due to inflation catastrophe. But can follow Keynesian policy "dig the holes and fill the holes". We already have holes which are dug that are pending projects of rural roads, health infrastructure, market yards and cold storage plants which intend to create millions of jobs.
