Ganesh festival is more than dance and songs

Ganesh Chaturthi is the day people celebrate the arrival of Lord Ganesh to earth from 'Kailash Parvat' with his mother Goddess Parvati. Everyone possesses deep knowledge of Lord Ganesh's life that he was blessed with the fruit of knowledge and all virtuous qualities and success in all undertakings.

Ganesh Chaturthi is the day to get absorbed into deep remembrance of such a great personality, but we Hindus instead of doing it, are just having DJ dance, competitions and enjoying our own self with no intentions to be in the remembrance of God. So, people should have fear of God instead of doing all these. Their intentions should be on possessing the qualities like that of Lord Ganesh to gain more spirituality in their lives.
