The film is helmed by Anish R Krishna and it is produced by Usha Mulpuri under the banner of Ira Creations.Let's see how the film fares at box-office.

Story

Krishna Chari(Naga Shaurya) works as a technical trainer in a Hyderabad based IT company. He falls in love with manager Vrinda(Shirley)who is a north Indian girl. Krishna lies to his parents about shirley’s peculiar medical problem and marries her. Krishna’s mother dislikes Vrinda for being social with colleagues. Rest of the film deals with typical issues of Vrinda with her in-laws.

Analysis

The entire love track between the lead pair in the IT office is written well, keeping the modern age in mind, and they are the most passable elements in the first half of the screenplay. The simple story and pleasant narration are what make the first half a very cool experience for the audience.

The family drama starts at the interval with a fun-filled sequence and paves a strong path and plot for the second half to be rooted by the audience. The second half of the film has lots of hilarious scenes. The problems faced by a newly married couple are very well pointed out and presented. The family drama is the major highlight in the second half. Overall, the unique point of the film’s story is what keeps Krishna Vrinda Vihari ahead of the other movies by Naga Shaurya from the same genre of romantic comedy.

“Krishna Vrinda Vihari” is a fresh family entertainer with a simple story and clean narration. Naga Shaurya and Shirley Setia are very comfortable and commanding as the new age couple, Krishna and Vrinda. It is a decent watch for the weekend.

Performances

Naga Shaurya is very stylish as Krishna in the urban looks. He easily pulled off the role with his comedy timing and also with his subtle performance in the dramatic scenes. As is known to us all, Naga Shaurya is always comfortable in these boy next-door roles.

Shirley Setia, marking her debut in Telugu cinema, is very pretty as Vrinda. She perfectly pairs up with Naga Shaurya on screen. She impresses audience in her debut itself. Radikaa Sarathkumar, as Naga Shaurya’s mother perfectly fits the role of a Brahmin aged woman and her performance is truly impressive. Vennela Kishore and the other supporting cast are apt and decent.

Technicalities

Anish Krishna is totally successful in setting up a story which has two completely opposite elements; one-the hero comes from an orthodox family, and the other-the girl he loves is completely modern. Well, the story might look simple and predictable, but the screenplay is the master here. The scenes just flow with the time, and the film has equal proportions of laughs and conflict.

‘Emundhi Ra’ song kickstarts the proceedings of the love story in the film. The song is very attractive and is pictured very beautifully. The choreography of the song looks super cool. The song ‘You Are My Dream Girl’ also attracts. The background score of the film is also pleasant. Mahati Swara Sagar makes his mark here. Editing by Tammiraju needs a special mention for keeping the film on crisp run time. The visuals of the film are very rich and the production values are of high standards.
