George Reddy (Sandeep Madhav) is a student leader in Osmania University. He fills inspiration in fellow students to fight against the atrocities going on in the campus. What hurdles did he face? What did he do? What is his story? Has to be seen in the film.
Performances:
Sandeep Madhav actually went under the skin of the character and delivered his career-best performance in the movie. Without making any rookie mistakes, Sandeep Madhav has delivered his best performance in the movie and his energetic performance added more strength for the film. Shrinivas Pokale blended well with their character and delivered a decent performance. Satyadev Kancharana will leave an impact on his outstanding performance in the movie. Devika Daftardar acted naturally in the film. Muskan Khubchandini has given 100% in essaying the role. Pawon Ramesh is too good in his role. Manoj Nandam also delivered decent performances in the film. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
Director B Jeevan Reddy succeeded in showcasing so many interesting things about George Reddy in the film. Though he has executed the story well, his pace of narration is very slow and especially in the second half, the director will test the patients with his slow scenes. However, he has handled the emotions well in the film. Production values by Mic Movies, Three Line Cinemas, Silly Monks Studios are the highlight of the film. Music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar and Suresh Bobbili is superb. Their BGM is topnotch. Cinematographer Sudhakar Reddy has produced some beautiful and catchy visuals for the film. Editing by J Pratap Kumar is clean and neat.
Verdict:
The story starts off on an interesting note and the first 20 minutes of the film is really interesting. But, the director took things extremely slow and his slow-paced narration will test the patience of the audience. The first half is far better when compared with the second half. However, the emotional sequences, as well as the fight scenes in the second half, are handled brilliantly. The interval block is good and the pre-climax and climax are also handled really well. Sandeep Madhav's mesmerizing performance is truly an asset to this film. Performances, BGM, and visuals will be the plus points of the film whereas some scenes in the second half is the minus point. On the whole, 'George Reddy' is a really good film.
